What will be taught?
Hello there future emoji-coders! 🙌 In our exciting journey together, you'll learn how to craft your very own algorithms using one of the coolest language systems we have - emojis! 😃 We'll break down concepts like sequencing, decision-making, and loops, and teach you how to use emojis to represent them. 💡
What topics will you cover?
We'll begin with the basics, explaining what algorithms are and why they're so super important. 🎒 Then, we'll dive into the fun stuff, using emojis to create simple algorithms and learning about sequencing. 🚦Next, we'll level up, introducing decision-making (IF and ELSE) into our emoji algorithms. 💭 After that, we'll get into the fun of looping, using our emoji language to explore 'FOR' and 'WHILE' loops. 🔄 And finally, we'll let you loose to create your own complex emoji algorithm, applying everything you've learned! 🚀
How is your class structured?
Our class is made up of 5 exciting, one-hour sessions. 🕒 Each session will start with a brief introduction to a new concept, followed by a hands-on activity where you'll put your new skills to work. 🖐️ Then, we'll have a lively discussion about the algorithms you've made, and finally, we'll wrap up with a summary and a look at what's to come. 🎉
How will you teach?
We're all about keeping things fun and interactive! 🥳 We'll use simple, everyday examples to explain complex concepts, and of course, plenty of emojis! 🍕🌳🌧️ We'll be showing you examples, guiding you through activities, and providing plenty of opportunities for you to try things out for yourself.

As your guide, my aim is to keep things lively, engaging, and fun! 🎈 I believe in learning by doing, so expect lots of hands-on activities and problem-solving. 💪 And remember, there are no silly questions, only exciting opportunities to learn more! 🌟
How much will learners get to interact with you and each other?
Our class will be a mix of teaching, discussions, and activities. I'll be here to guide you, but you'll also get plenty of chances to share your thoughts, ask questions, and interact with each other. 👥 We'll use Zoom features to enhance our learning - breakout rooms for group work, the chat for sharing ideas, and the 'raise hand' function for questions.
